Theiling Rollermat loud

Hello guys,

I installed my theiling rollermat (hard plumbed) recently in my sump, however its making loud noises, any ideas how to lower down the noise? its sumberged about 8 cm under the water....

Video does not work. I have mine on a stand so that the exit for the water on the bottom of the filter is barely submerged. The only sound it makes is when it advances the roll.

Maybe the amount of bubbles it creates its caused that im using a durso standpipe:/

Probably, a durso has to bring air in with it doesn’t it? I’ve never used one only bean animal here.
