Phew! This was a sizzler! Limited entries, winner took all. Just glorious. We labeled this one "advanced" or "expert" level and it's true the blast can be a little finicky. It's not a fast grower by any means. But in the right hands it's one of the hottest sps I've ever seen. Especially if you can pull the blue in those tips!
And no surprise, you guys did an incredible job with the Blast. But like I said this one was winner take all.

You have always done really well in these contests no doubt about that, but this was your moment! Super impressive growth and coloration on your Blast and Candy. Well done my friend. You have earned the official title of Blastmaster!

Thanks once again to everyone who participated. Not just in the Blast, but all four rounds this year this year. What a good session! On a personal note, it is always really cool for me to see coral that I love, that I've grown and took care of for many years grown out in other reefers tanks and documented so well. It always amazes me how different the range of entries can get. Very cool really.
And finally, as we officially close out summer 2025 grow out session, You know that these are the guys who really make these happen. I'm just the dorky introvert with the coral. Without these guys there would be no BC grow outs. I promise you.

Your official grow out organizers, I mean it when I say thanks again for all that you guys do! There's a tremendous amount of leg work that goes on behind the scenes that I think they've gotten so good at you would have no idea that is happening. They are truly pros.
So from me and the rest of the contestants
Thank you for putting these on and keeping them fun! and thanks to the Forum and David @revhtree for platforming us here to do them.
Now, I know we've kind of started a trend here and there's a lot of grow out threads in the sponsor form these days.
Yes, just like "live sale fatigue" is a thing, we are getting close to or have maybe reached a state of grow out fatigue here.
But, if there is interest I think we're going keep going. And we've got some cool new ideas for a new contest. But we're going limit it to just one contest per season. So if you're interested, look out for announcements on the next one. Or, get your name on the Battlelist , or reach out to any of the organizers. I'm sure they steer you in the right direction.
With that, BC summer 2025 is over. I look forward to another round.
