Walked by the tank and saw what I thought was a Zoa polyp. It has antennas and it’s walking.
Ive never seen ont that looks like this. Should I get it out?

I looked online and couldn’t find anything that looked even close to it. I know that some eat Zoa’s and it was right near my colony and the same color as the polyps. Luckily, it was on a small piece of base rock. I pulled the rock out ( really ticked off my Frogspawn) and it went into a hole in the rock.
Sad and a little ashamed to say but I bagged up the rock and it’s in the freezer. He will go to sleep and I’ll toss the rock.
I hated to do it but I didn’t want to take any chances. I had to act quick while I could still see where it was. :(

That’s the one! About 1/2” in length. Must have been in my rock since the beginning. I dip my corals. Maybe they can survive the dip?
Anyway, it’s gone now. Still makes me sad to have to put something down like that. :(

hi ,need to dip all your zoas ,by his size ,there are more:(
I have 3 frags with only a few polyps on each. I think they should be okay but I have 2 colonies, one with about 40 polyps and another with over 100. I’ll dip those tomorrow.
