There's something fishy about this build...

Id go back to mibu.
People who dont know me take "goaway" wrong.
But I've finally gotten used to goaway! I'm no longer nervously second guessing whether to reply on your thread.

I don't know what's going on here(haven't read it all), but I'm here now...
Mostly shenanigans. And some fish stuff. I think he's posted 6 pictures of his tank so far.

Actual question. How do I make this less wet? Do I just turn it down or does messing with the water intake weir do something?

Th skimmate? I keep the air turned up and decrease the flow of water until the bubbles are just at the top of the throat.

What skimmer? Octo?

Is this your intern side-gig now? I didn't know Sam was hiring!

I turned down the motor and then lowered the water intake thingy until the bubbles were at the top. Maybe that will help.
It’s a maxspect gyre.

I might have to sneak a random angelfish in there someday. They'll be proud too!

I had the best skimmer but it doesn’t fit on this tank sadly. Why is it the best? You can take the whole cup off and put it back on without any unplugging unscrewing or anything. It’s so so so much better. Why is this not a thing for all skimmers?!

That’s how my Regal Octopus 250 INT is. I thought all skimmers worked like that.

I turn off the skimmer and lift off the cup. I can leave the skimmer running, but I’d rather just close it because I don’t like when the air silencer area gets wet.

I've only ran octo skimmers, also thought that's how they all were. Just lift the cup off, if it's running it will overflow water

I haven’t even figured out how to get this cup off and it’s definitely not in the instructions

If it does come off like that then it doesn’t come easily. I’ve tried Pulli GN and twisting but it’s not coming.
