They only come out at night! What are they?

Just noticed these critters tonight when I looked closely at the sand in the dark. Turned on my light and they’re actually everywhere. Anyone know what these are? They look like little shrimp but I’ve never seeded with pods and they’re quite large. Biggest ones are close to an inch I’d say

They will have a population explosion when they first start out in the tank then their numbers will reduce. You want them in there for sure. They can be a helpful part of your cleanup crew.
