Think this stand will support the weight ?

So this is my first stand build and thought I would get everyones opinion before I continue. Its a standard marineland 75g. The stands up rights are made of 2 x 4's and the verticals are double 2 x 6's for the front and back and single 2 x 6's on the sides. What my concern is that I didn't put any center braces in because of the sump.

That stand would hold anything; no need for center support.

I built a one using a similar design for my 90gal ind it was more than sufficient. The only thing I did additional to yours is use plywood on top so the foam under the tank would work as intended. It really helped to restrict twist.

Not center support needed. if the top is level and flat, which it should be, then you don't need plywood on the top.

At least you have a stand that would hold a tank. if the need ever arises.

top is very close to level but I can see a few low spots less then 1/8 of a inch. Planning on using a piece of plywood and shims to level it all out.

Unfortunately, this is more common with 2xs than plywood.

BTW, you never want to shim under a tank.

Lol you overbuilt this stand for that tank perfectly.

Stand will hold the tank no problem. I hope you used deck screws or they will corrode badly, even if they don't get wet. And they will get wet
Here is my galvanized tank leg. The cleaner one to the right is a replacement. Screws in wood would corrode much faster because wood absorbs water and it stays there.

If a stand is built correctly, it doesn't even need screws or nails.

Put a piece of plywood on top so if you ever go with acrylic you are covered. DON'T shim the tank - only shim the stand and then only when it's in place. Do your freshwater test and see how everything looks - levels are inaccurate, water never lies. If you do have to shim it, be sure to use composite shims as they don't compress like wood ones and use a number of them per side, not just one. If it's going against a wall in a carpeted room, be sure to account for the tackless strip that holds the carpet in place.
