Thinking about a Lobo…

I think it’s time to add my first centerpiece coral to my 65g, and I’m thinking of putting a lobophyllia on the bottom rock on the right side of my rockscape. I know there’s a couple LFS near me that have them, and I’m wondering if anyone has insight on prices to look out for. I know the place I plan to check first has really good prices on some corals and insane prices on other pieces. I know lobos come in plenty of different color variations, are there ones that get upcharged and others that are really nice without getting the price jacked up? Also if anyone thinks this place in the tank would be better for something else, I’d love to know what you think as I’m not 100% decided on having a lobo there. The two pics I’m attaching are a map of where I’ll have everything in the tank, along with the same picture without the writing. Thoughts?

Anywhere on sandbed should be fine

I keep smaller lobo (3) on a shelf in low par medium flow

Just keep a couple inches perimeter away from other corals.

The 3 big ones in the first 3 pics were all around 250$ for me

The 3 smaller ones on the shelf range from free (gifted to me), to 50ish, to “you don’t want to know lol”

On the right-hand side, I would go from top to bottom, SPS, Lobo, chalices. I have a beautiful little Lobo that lost all of its amazing colors when I moved it to low light. I moved it into an area of fairly high light under my Reef Breeder Meridian around 200-250 par, and it is finally starting to color up again. Always take it slow when acclimating new corals.

Finally making a comeback. You can see the beginning of those amazing streaks coming back.
