Who has one? How is the temperament? Model citizens?

I have had one spot for a while. I want to try the magnificent now.

My one spot is a pig and loves algae. I will put it in my FOWLR.

Thoughts on the magnificent? in reef?

I have a large one in my 125 reef. Never picked on anything. Very mild tempered fish and IMO very shy. They can hold their own in aggressive tanks but have never seen one pick at another fish. Mine very quickly started eating pellet food. Love him

A friend of mine has one in a 200g DD with various other tangs, wrasses, and a few other species. So far it's been a model citizen.

Very well said. What size tank would it be going in?

I love mine, it's actually my favorite fish in the tank.I have a 120 reef and the only other big fish is a Purple Tang.It has never bothered any of my corals and a great algae eater to boot.

I keep one in my frag tank. He has not bothered any corals and loss algae, took a day or two to stop hiding but now he's out and about and eating pellet and algae from the clip.

Cool fish!!

Sorry for all the typo on post #9. What a way to start a first post. :)

I meant to say: Agree with above. I've 2 in a 180g fowlr since April 2010.
