It’s been quite a while since I posted here. I have had various size reef tanks for the last twenty years, I currently have a Red Sea 425XL 90 Gallon tank, which does have scratches. It’s mainly zoas, mushrooms, leathers, gorgonians, euphelias, RBTs, about a dozen fish and lots of inverts.
I’ve had this tank for almost eight years. As I’m getting older, with some health issues, I find cleaning it a bit of a pain.
So, I’m thinking of downsizing to a Red Sea Nano XL, 32 gallon tank, which I would appreciate opinions on.
I would transfer some of my smaller fish, corals and inverts, some sand and smaller rock, maybe some of the water. I have been quite lucky to have a completely pest free tank all these years.
The thought of selling the rock covered in coral and nets is daunting and then selling the tank and all of the equipment.
I guess I would have to hire someone to help with the transition and maybe store some of the livestock temporarily.
Opinions about the tank, transferring, selling, etc? Thanks.
