Hey guys i to am tired of water changes and was interested in trtion.

Sadly i do not have enough room for a fuge tha is 20% my tank volume being that i have a 60 cube and everything must fit in the sump.

Is there anyone here using the triton 7 elements for other methods?
How is it going for you ?
what exactly is your set up?
Are you really not doing any water changes?
and do you see any changes in the animals?

If you really don't want to do water changes and don't have the ability to meet the Triton Method guidelines you can do the following: skim wet, dose B-Ionic 2 part (contains trace in balanced amounts) + Mag supplement of your choice, run a Chaeto reactor, do the ICP testing and adjust any trace elements as needed. There's really not a need to meet some arbitrarily rigid "method" requirements for accomplishing your hobby goals.

Look into ATI Essentials no water changes and you don't need a fudge I've been running it for about a month now and everything is looking really good. I'm not running a refugium

Tank always tests 0 for phosphate and nitrate don't run carbon or gfo either. I have to dose reef roids everyday or I'll start to lose color in my sps. I just skim dry and have Marine pure block

I ran a refugium for a while but but nothing would ever grow so I just shut it down. Stopped doing water changes about 4 months ago and the tank has really taken off growth has been better coloration been better so I started running ATI Essentials for Trace elements

The marine pure is driving nutrients very low, maybe too low.

A possible impediment to doing a Triton type method, is that you are not exporting metals the way algae does, so may have a harder time keeping trace elements from rising.

i have been running marine pure with zeovit . the body of the sps kept getting alage although my no3 is at 5ppm and po4 is at 0.06ppm . running radion using ab+ at 60%

the corals are pale in colour and the greens in the ssc have dropped .

Any idea?

I think this is because of carbon dosing or low potassium.

I use a massive algae reactor- 5ft long x6"x6" tube, I get about 5 lbs a week, and keep my phosphates and nitrates at 0 very easily
