Third Time A Charm ?

Well, after losing two Mandarins (the first lived only a week and the second was DOA), I have acclimated and introduced a third Mandarin to the tank. Hopefully this one wasn't collected using Cyanide or anything that could cause it to die prematurely.... I strongly suspect that Cyanide capture was the culprit in the previous two deaths, having read where Paul B. noted in his book that Cyanide-captured fish seldom live.

I could have just about bought a captive bred with the $60 I spent on the first two fish (the LFS warrantied the third Mandarin due to it being DOA). I had considered getting a captive bred Mandarin, but the unavailability of medium-large specimens deterred me from doing so.
