I was gonna say something similar to above - take things slow as you change your maintence practices. A lot of what your experiencing is normal for a new tank. Water changes etc are just tools I think you should have at your disposal and try out!

Yes, I just looked up bi-weekly and apparently it means either twice a week or every two weeks. I meant every two weeks haha. What a silly word.

I only do mine once a month. Tank full of corals.

It’s a new tank. Organics floating around , dino diatom sooo and fish poo floating around. That’s why the coral are grumpy.

A bunch of new vids and posts on this very topic. Summarizing what I've read and seen, not what I know from experience, your nitrate and phosphate levels are too good to be true on a 2 mo tank and highly likely the algae ur battling is the prime reason they r so low. What I c suggests u want the various algae and bacteria to battle it out and find balance, not allow algae to dominate and win hands down.
