This is normal for trochus right?

I'm really hoping this is normal behavior and my trochus is not about to die. In two days he hasn't moved much, which is what happened before my first two died, but his shell has grown a lot. Do I'm hoping he's just using his energy growing and he's not about to die, because I don't like it when my snails die :(

They are completely nocturnal, so have you been checking after lights out? Mine roams around then often returns to the same ‘parking spot’.

Yes, I have he has been moving at night, just not as much as normal, he only moved a few inches from were he was.
