Hey all, just putting myself out there for the first time. I’ve been reefing for about 20 years now( Im in my 30s). I had never built a setup on my own without my father. He knew a little and we always had some crazy issues. lol. He tried his best but still loves the hobby. He is moving into his new house and so he instead gave me a 120gal setup with stand and some equipment. Well, I didn’t go with any of the equipment but I went all in to try and build something really nice. I bought a bunch of neptunes stuff, a reef octo, an mp10 and 40, did all the hard plumbing myself, including a manifold. Got a prefab sump and so much more. It looks great so far but sadly isn’t fully running yet. I need to build my aquascape, add sand and then water and start the cycle soon here. I came here to learn and maybe help others though because I love reefing. Truly, it drives my wife nuts but she understands. So thank you all and look forward to conversing with many others. Happy reefing!

I think I have read this hundreds of times on Reef2Reef, lol 😂

Sometimes I feel like this is a forum for people that want to throw money out of the window before their spouse does. 😂
