I was watching a news report on this with my wife and I told her while it was on that if someone came up and did that to me they better hope they knock me out because I will shoot them. No sooner did I say that and the new started saying how there was a man in Lancing Michigan waiting for his daughter at the bus stop and some kid came up and did this to him. That man shoot the kid two times and now that kid is in jail for 5 years. There are the many people (at least in Michigan) that have a carry and conceal permit to be running around doing stupid stuff like this. These kids think it is all fun and games but when they get shot because someone is trying to protect themselves they arnt going to think it was so much fun anymore.

I live outside of DC and its happening here too...mainly in DC..as yet again those are people who cannot carry firearms legally...
Being of the belief that all competent woman who feel comfortable handling a gun should carry in this day and age, we will have yet another problem of an adult having to shoot a teenager because they are in fear for their life. Though I have to say the first time one of these kids is shot and or killed I think it may slow down the uprising of this so-called game....

And I believe this has happened.. Hope it will "help" if there is such a thing.

it really is, Cause there not just targeting one group of people. There doing it to all type of people, If you look like the one they wanna sideline then thats whats gonna happen. i dont ever look over my shoulders when im walking. Never did never wanted to, Now that i see this happening! im like really now ever little group of kids i see when im comming home from work in the city or where ever im working or what not, That i have to pay attention to this... I hope Bad things come to this Kids and Hope nothing really bad happens to someone and belongings start to go missing over the hollidays, I no allot of people spend a ton of money on Black friday for x-mass shopping and tend to do a lot of it and its bad enough that people get knocked down cause of the sales.

Now look at it when it comes to be night time during black friday,**MASKED VULGARITY REMOVED**are gonna be targeting people with tons of bags and the kids helping there parents and Could get robbed of there belongings :/ its a sad thing. I know if i were to see it happen to someone im gonna end up Helping them to the fullest extent i can.

Hope all of you are safe during the hollidays. Hope that people that did not know about this are now doing some research on What is really going on AND THIS NEW HYPE that these kids are doing.

Too bad you live in New York where the average citizen can't arm themselves for protection. That commie Bloomberg doesn't have to worry he's got armed bodyguards. I left that commie state 10 years ago. Now I live in a state that lets the non-criminals protect themselves.

When I was a kid living in Queens I used to be petrified at night. Everything you can imagine occurred on my block i.e. ****, armed robberies, home invasions, burglaries etc. Get out of New York State before its too late!

To top it off do you see the commissioner ray kelly, or any of them trying to put a stop to this already. i Dont know if there doing a stelthy under the radar moveand doing all sorts of STINGS to prevent this happening or doing some undercover work, Witch i hope they are.

Lucky me and my girlfriend live in whitestone queens where there is only YUPIES and only OLD people now i live right on the water front with her, Its really nice over here. But there SHUTTING DOWN FRANCES LEWIS HIGH SCHOOL and BUILDING ONE OVER HERE IN WHITESTONE, with would bring all that rukkis over here and start a whole new ball game for all these old people and younger kids to get into trouble. I just hope this comees to a end very very soon and people start getting some lessons tought to them in cold sight, the person teaching them i hope does not get into trouble.

They target people of that age and women because they are cowards. They don't put on gloves and hit the ring, again because they are cowards. This type of behavior is disgusting. It will take one of them getting killed and the victim going to prison to stop it.

2 kids are already killed. The 60Year old lasy killed 2 of them when they tried it on her. She was attacked and then she whipped out a gun and fired 5 times killing 2 of them.

Practicing situational awareness can go a long way to prevent certain ( not all ) things from happening to oneself. I always try to develop a good understanding of people's actions and demeanors when I am in a public place. It is very sad to see the total disregard for life these days.... Not to mention lack of respect for other people. It's a shame. No matter how anyone feels about firearms, I believe that everyone deserves the right to have the option to defend themselves from this kind of brutality, unfortunately some times the best option may be deadly force.

Wow. Didn't know that. I went to Francis Lewis H.S. and lived in Flushing/Fresh Meadows. My aunt and uncle lived in Whitestone near Utopia Pkwy and I think near a elementary or junior H.S. they lived in a house that had its own block in the middle of the intersection by itself.

This is a terrible thing and has been going in for a long time before any attention was put on it. I'm fairly young (29) and things have really changed from when I was young. I and just about everyone did stupid and reckless things when we were younger but this is a whole other level. When my friends and I did stupid things we did not involve and harm innocent people. The lack of respect of fellow human beings is disgusting and scary.

I don't know what can be done about this but things need to change. I worked in atlantic city (the now 7th most dangerous city in america) throughout college. I would get out of work sometimes at 3am or later. The advice given about watching your surroundings is very important. If something does not feel right chances are its not. I can name more than a few instances where my instincts have kept me away from bad situations. If your mind is telling you something's wrong listen.

your right they dont diserve it, But they dont think twice what some people will do if they step too close to one another. They need to get there thinking caps on before this turns into a bloodbath quickly. Cause in new york tehre is high crime rate and in Newark new jersey too. HIghest hommicide rate in the country i think or maybe this region. But still these little kidds need to be tought a lesson.

is it okay to just shoot one of them? IMO if you are gonna step to me and try to robb me and jump me and beat me, you better think that if your gonna try that. What makes you think im not gonna pull out a GUN or a KNIFE and shoot or Stabb you? its it cause of color? who knows, Cause of people that are weak? i dont know. But when it comes down to it. THESE KIDS MY AGE AND YOUNGER NEED to BE stoped and put away for a long time. They will attack again and wont stop till the fun and games are behind them and there sitting in a 8x10 cell block with 2 phone calls a day and being around MEN that have been in prison for years apon out. Then they'll get tought a lesson. But hopefully they stay in cause thats what they diserve.
