Not that your tank isn't nice but I think you hijacked the tread away from its original purpose.

Maybe I can agree but please explain?
Yes on the my last two pics that I posted, and I'm so sorry for that.

Does anyone know where I can get the material the stand is skinned with? I am looking to skin my existing stand with it. Is it piano board or something?

You'll have to look up Elos aquariums and see if they say what they make their stands out of or call one of the two stores here in the states.

I have an Elos tank and made my own door for easy access. The skinned material I bought was from Home Depot. You can buy the wood WITH the white skin already on it. All we did was cut it to specifications and used the same white trimming for the open areas where we cut it. Use a heat-press iron to glue it onto the open wood. It was a very easy to do project and looks clean.

Wow cool! Thank you so much. I'm guessing it's in the decorative paneling section?

Ill try to find the name of the actual material. I didn't even have to paint the white as the Elos stand and new door matched perfectly.

Ok found it. Its Melamine for the actual door.

For the edging we used Melamine tape which you iron on.
