Just been told Aussie gold and ultras....
The aussies I’ve seen have longer arms, but who knows. Maybe they aren’t fully happy yet. Beautiful euphyllia!

What are the arms/tentacles on euphyllia actually called? I feel like I should know that.
If you ask me about dendronephthya colonies, I'll have an answer, your guess good as mine on the tentacles, and you call yourself a reef keeper. I bet you paid pennies on the dollar for those badges. Or you probably go them free. Probably found them in the trash Heeeee

They come when you least expect them! You’re a good reefer, you will have them too sometime soon I’m sure!

Oh and the arms are called polyps and the tips are called projections apparently.
So each arm is a polyp? I had no idea. I thought the polyp was always the mouth and tentacles combined. Like each crown is one polyp. I learn new things everyday.

When I hear tentacles, ,I think anemones and corals that look kinda like anemones. I also learn something new

I guess @Hemmdog can keep them sinking badges, he earn them. He's good for something.
I don’t think he cares about badges anyway. They can take them away and he wouldn’t notice. Humble guy.

According to that study, that’s what they were referring to them as, yea. Did anyone else read it? It was fascinating I thought.
