How do clean them?
It should be called coraline seams. Whoever came up with this **** should be shot.
The armor seam is a thin piece of glass that covers the silicone so that you can’t damage the seam when you clean the glass. However, it’s a thin piece of glass on top of the glass pane in the corner. You can’t get the magnet cleaner to run over it. Manually scraping it is a pain. With the 4” eurobrace, good luck.

I don’t clean mine. They’re covered in coraline. You could use a razor blade or abrasive brush but be careful not to touch the silicone itself.

I have noticed this but I honestly don't care. I don't usually clean the back of my tanks and I don't clean the seams. I can't notice any bio fouling expect when I look across from one of the short ends and this doesn't bother me.

Well, my last tank only had the armor seams on the overflow side glass which is black. So I never noticed or bothered by it since I don't clean that glass. But with the new tank, I had it on every corner and I do clean my glass and want them clean. I never had an issue with damaging the silicone in any of my tanks. This is going to bug me for awhile I guess.

How did things turn out for you? I’ve got some new armored seams and am looking for easy options. Thank you!
