Came home to a wet floor around tank. Immediately thought the worst case scenario. Checked salinity- 026-check
Water leaking from seams-nope
Sump leaking-no

ATO pump hose going into sump came loose and watered the floor instead of the sump. Luckily- my ATO reservoir is very low filled or 10 gallons of water could have been emptied instead of about half gallon.

Still keeping an eye on it but almost 100% sure it was the hose. Also thought maybe the reservoir was leaking to which it doesn’t appear to be.

Also lucky that water was contained to a rubber mat that didn’t get water on vinyl floor below.

LOL....same on Sunday (I have a Red Sea)....thought tank leaking......had that little heart attack for a second......
seems I over watered my plant that lives next to the tank and the pot saucer overflowed......

thank God. It’s my biggest nightmare. Glad your tank is ok.

I’m so careful when i scrape algae making sure i do not even touch a seam.

What a.t.o and or controller are you running? Can you set a Max on time for the pump?
