Thoughts on adding a Valentini Puffer....

So, maybe this is a bad idea, but I have been thinking about adding a Valentini Puffer to my reef aquarium. I have a 310 gallon display tank that is a little over 4 yrs old. I have some corals and am trying to increase their numbers and vitality in the tank. I also have several fish - some of them have been in the tank for 3+ yrs. I also have a few anemones, several snails, serpent stars, sand-sifting stars, shrimp, concs, etc. Is this a really bad idea to add a Valentini Puffer to the tank? Am I just causing too many possible issues by doing this? I know they stay relatively small and have a great personality, but perhaps it is just too risk with the inverts and corals in the tank. If anyone has experience or feedback, please share! Thank you! Bob

I wouldn't risk it if you want to keep your inverts.

You probably would lose a few inverts (on the smaller side) cause these puffers are very small in general. Worth a try, keep him well fed and you probably would be fine but be prepared for him to eat some or all he can get in his mouth. I keep inverts with my eels like hermits and snails, they get eaten they get eaten
