Just ran across these, https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-AIRPLATE-Thermostat-Cabinets/dp/B00QFWWZQO?ref=ast_p_ep
I know the CFM are a little low at only 104 for the dual fan option but they have a three fan and a 1 fan model with expansion slots in the thermostat controller for additional fans. Use some silicone USB plugs and/or enclose the thermostat to prevent moisture infiltration?.? VERY quiet & seems like a great price and I think a very clean installation. Thoughts?

Looks interesting. Nice that they'd kick on at certain temps instead of running all the time with regular fans.

It would make a very clean look.

I was thinking the same thing. I could plug into the apex for redundancy based on the tank temp and not be limited to the internal canopy temp...

I think I might just pop smoke and get them then report on how well they work and hold up to the canopy environment. Likely place the thermostat controller in a DIY acrylic box.

Yeah. Go for it. Nice gadget and it looks nice.
I thought so as well. And for the price... Relative to the temperature controlled Ice cap cooling fans... can't beat that.

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered them. As soon as they come in and are installed I will post up again with photos and an initial review. As with anything, time will be the true test.

Based off your review I may order a set of these for my cabinet. Thanks! :)

I have a duel fan in my canopy. Was not enough. Bought a different fan that did the trick for me. I'm running two 400 w halide bulbs and dealing with a lot of heat.
I must also mention I did not set it up to blow air out. Used it to circulate air

4.7 out of 5 stars with 400 reviews. I think you found a winner.

Ordered two duel fans that I plan on blowing across the water from both sides with venting out the top and back. At least that is the tentative plan. Just around 420 CFM will hopefully be able to handle any heat from the LED lights and drop the water temp as needed.

That may be enough for your leds. Those fans are pretty quiet by the way

Well, I got the fans in and tested them out before fitting everything in. Below are the photos of them installed but the wiring has not been completed. The build quality is great and the fans are incredibly silent. I went with the dual fans on each side of the canopy blowing in. I will have two vents on the top of the canopy and two to vent on the back to vent the warm air out. Will keep you all posted if interested. Bottom line they are some sexy looking fans and controller.

Outstanding! Really. I have them both blowing into the canopy and have had no issue with any moisture on them, yet.
I did turn one side around to have them blowing out thinking that I might have better cooling. There was no measurable difference. However, when I did do this there was minor condensation building up on the fan housing of the fan that was sucking air from the canopy. The fan housing, fan blades, as well as the bracket, are all plastic. I ended up turning the ones back around so both sets of fans on both sides blow into the canopy again and back to no moisture build up. Very pleased so far. No rust and still going strong. So long as I have drier air blowing into the canopy, I think the fans and controller will last. Time will tell but for the price and features, I couldn't be more pleased.

I have a similar model to blow air out of my canopy. Seemed to reduce temp about 3 degrees.

Thanks in advance...
