Hello,

I just bought a new Sebae anemone a few days ago and wanted to get some opinions on how it is looking so far health wise (I am new to owning anemones). After day one, it found this spot over in the corner of my tank and hunkered down. I haven't seen it fully open up yet, but it hasn't closed up either. Thoughts?

If the Sebae is staying in one spot that's a good sign. The first image looks good.

That can be either a H. malu or H. crispa.
It looks OK to me. Given more time and as it recovers in your system, we may be able to ID with more certainly.

Thanks everyone! I did notice that it seems to open up more at night. Would that indicate that my lighting might be set too high?

It could just be acclimating to new lighting conditions. Give it a couple of weeks to settle in.
