My issue is that my Gen3 Radion XR30Pro(s) was continuously tripping my GFCI outlet, after finally getting my new build fired up. I tried 3 different outlets, and even replaced them each, all to no avail. After a bit of research, apparently this is/was a common problem with the power supplies. After contacting Ecotech, I was kindly told to go pound salt. My lights are out of warrantee, and my only option is to spend an additional $300+ to upgrade both of my power supplies. I think that a $700 light (when new) should be capable of working with any standard electrical outlet, within CONUS anyway. I hope you read this before making your aquarium/house safer. I have purchased a lot of Ecotech equipment, and will be selling all of it to go with their competitors.
