Recently got into the hobby (a month ago) and got the Tideline AIO 62 tank. I was at a trade show and the LFS and Planet Aquarium was there and really sold me on the tank being a great starter option. I'm now a month in and hitting a wall with a few things:
1. The included pumps are LOUD - vibrations and rattling. I emailed Planet Aquarium a video and they immediately sent me 2 new pumps that unfortunately are the exact same. I've already ordered the Jaebo DCW-1500 pumps which I hope will be much quieter, but it really annoys me that I bought this AIO that comes with pumps that are so loud it's unusable. It's just a waste and in my opinion a mark against Planet for selling a tank with these cheap loud pumps
2. Because of the AIO split sump design everything is double the price - media baskets, fleece rollers, pumps, etc
3. LFS said this was a VERY popular tank and lots of accessories available for it. I'm not seeing that. I can find 1 media basket on Kreative Reefer and 1 on Etsy. I'm not seeing a ton for this tank. Is this just me not searching enough?
4. Red Sea has an option for a rear sump cover - https://fishtanksdirect.com/red-sea-max-nano-rear-sump-screen/
I cannot find a version of this for this tank. And having all the equipment stick out of the back really ruins the view
I'm feeling very disenchanted with this super expensive purchase. Would love any insight that anyone can has.
