Tiger conch climbing rocks?

My tiger conch climbed completely onto the rock and is munching on some gha is this normal behavior? Or is it only doing this because it is out of food?

Yep. Conches are surprisingly great climbers.

Not the most common behavior, but mine does it too occasionally. Just seems to get inspired and goes for it. Wish I filmed the last time, because I witnessed some pretty fancy invert gymnastics!

Agreed, they're surprisingly good/resourceful climbers.

A couple photos from 2 years ago. The tank was just barely a month old at the time. Poor guy was probably scouring every inch for something to eat; happy to say he's still alive and well.

Mine thinks he is a rock climber also he knocked off two frag plugs and eventually made it to the top until I heard a clunk and he was in the sand again
