As title says has anyone added cucumbers with wrasses that love to pick at crabs & snails? I have two melanurus wrasses that aren’t invert friendly. Wasn’t sure if they would be tempted to pick at cucumbers as well? Looking to pick one up to help with sand bed cleaning but don’t want to risk it if it’s a possible issue? My nassarius, cerith, and conchs are only able to come out at night now so can’t keep up.

Also if you have a tiger tail where did you order from? Looking for a vender that keeps them QT in fishless systems.

Just died? Or did something else occur? Like powerhead etc?
It somehow got in my sump and went into the return pump. I have no clue how it even got down there!

My babi has cleaned out all of my nassarius snails. It has left my fighting conch (good sand stirrer) alone

Just out of curiosity what’s your flow in your tank? I have a feeling it’s not super high.
It was actually pretty high, this was in my old tank

Concerning an overly persistent wrasse, typical sea cucumber are not on the menu. Might work but I would hedge my bet. Could place inside an acclimation box and observe wrasse reaction, but may need to have a backup plan. Could increase frequency of feeding wrasse.

I am unaware if cucumber have ears. They don’t have bones, so anything that can be squeezed through is unclaimed territory. So yes even guarded pump/overflow/drains can be breached.
