My LFS is Kung Fu Corals and I went in and picked up a Tiger Torch there today that looks just like this one:

That is it's an intermix of gold and green tentacles. The owner of the LFS indicated to me that I should keep it in a lower light area of my tank or the gold might fade out. He suggested in the 150 PAR range.

I'm finding some conflicting information on it since in the link above, LuckyCorals says to keep it in medium light and if the light is too low the gold will fade out....

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm getting direct PAR measurements from an Apogee device and I'm on G6 Radion XR15 blues.

I got one and the gold started to fade when the light was around 120 par so i bumped it up to 160 and it is doing better.

From my personal experience so far 150-200 par for yellow colored torches seem to be good.

I keep my Tiger torch collection at 250-280 PAR under an Orphek LED/T5 hybrid lighting.

This makes me happy, had my tiger for a couple weeks now with almost identical parameters. Fully extended and doing well but it's fading color. Just bought brand new lights and a par meter and I am wayyy lower than what I thought. I thought maybe it was the high nO3 and po4 but I was sitting at 80 par with the old lights and just bumped it to 150 so I'll try to acclimate it to 190-200.
