Yeah my wrasse loves it also it was meant for my watchman but the wrasse tends to swim under it like a cave so it’s pretty cool to watch

Did you make it yourself? I like it.
I made mine but I used the standard 1/4" plastic mesh I bought from brs or somewhere else I can't remember now lol. You could drill more holes in that lid and it would be well worth the keeping your temps down effort.

Yeah it was just a lot of drilling I may just do like a thin pvc pipe and do the diameter of the tank with mesh kinda like you got

If you have a saw I'd grab a good blade and some of that mesh use what you already have. I wouldn't even care if the solid perimeter cuts had holes in them. I wish mine did now and you may actually start some kind of wierd trend if you did that because no one else is.
How thick is the plastic you drilled? It's probably holding alot of heat by the looks of it.

It’s probably about a 1/4 inch or a little less but around there that was my original plan cut a hole around and put in the mesh maybe I’ll do that

So my dr reef order came in and one fish was dead the clownfish made it but tail spot blenny did not

Woke up today to go to work to find my clown is now hosting my bta!! It was a quick photo so hard to tell here more photos later

Inkbird with fann installed a little loud but hopefully when it comes down to temp it’ll turn on once every so often

So I ended up taking those lids off for now I may take my old lids into work tomorrow to work on them but as for a small fix this is what I did

With my fans my tank holds a steady 77 degree

Right on. It's actually crazy how much the standard 1/4" mesh effects temp and ph alone. It will be interesting to see what you do
