I just got a dosing pump that is capable of 1.1ml per minute of liquid dosing. I'd like to use it to dose the alkalinity component of my two-part. I dose about 150mls per day and I'd like to do this in increments for obvious reasons. Can I accomplish this with a reasonably priced timer, or do I need a controller?

Home Depot specials have worked well for a lot of my timing needs before I switched over to a controller. It's so much easier with a controller and you can just pickup a used discontinued model for fairly reasonable price. Like Neptune's Aquacontroller Junior.
