Hello, I received a nice Stereonephthya yesterday and upon dropping in peroxide, a very tiny crab jumped off into the dipping solution. It’s smaller than the diameter of an eraser on a pencil. I’m curious to see if anybody might be able to help identify whether or not it’s reef safe. Thank you!

My best guess would be a xanthid crab from the taxonomic subfamily Chlorodiellinae - so I'd guess not reef-safe.

Thank you kindly for your response. I was thinking it’s most likely not reef safe.
