Tiny white bugs on Acropora???

Well I've started collecting a few Acros and Montipora and noticed tiny white bugs on 2 of my Acros.

These are only visible with a Black light flashlight, I tried looking for answers on various sites and couldn't really get any answers.

Tried dipping in Kent's Lugol's solution but they are still there.

Bugs are tinier than a grain of sand and fast.

Don't think I'll be able to get ant pics.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Do they have a red head?
Are the acropora showing decreased polyp expansion or loss of color?

No they don't look like red bugs but I don't know for certain.

One of the Acros I got has really never shown any polyp expansion but is as Dark Blue as when I purchased it.

I've been only seeing then on the Blue acropora.

Below is one of my favorite links. It's pretty common to see unknown Anthropods on corals, not all are bad. If your corals are showing no sign of stress I would not sweat it. If you feel the need to intervene Interceptor is a good and fairly benign treatment to all but crabs and shrimp.

While we're talking Pest's, do you have a Fav link with of the use of FWE on bug eggs(all nudi & pod, snail) in quarantine?
Its been recommended on R2R but I cant seem to find it. Im trying to decide on a QT pest regimen.

For the OP if you go to lionfishlair hitchikers, there is a bug called a sand skater, pretty common good CUC.. Im a bug lover and those freaked me out when I found them in the tank. Think lice infestation.

Yes. A method describes in a thread or three I confirmed in an article I cannot find. Its basically a prophylactic treatment to kill the egg sacks and possible flatworms and snails. Youll notice in that article all of those dips did not effect snails. Plus I believe the other in QT tank benefit is it does not linger in the sand and rock.
Ill poke around tomorrow as well and post it if I find it.
