Hi. I’d love to start producing little baby Bubble Tip Anemones. What’s your advice on getting them to grow and split? I haven’t been feeding mine but plan on feeding them silversides every few days? Is that all I can pretty much do? lol what’s the best PAR to get them at for best growth and color?

I've been feeding mine mysis shrimp 2x per week since I got it back in April. It hasn't split, but it has almost doubled in size. You can try to place it somewhere, but it will inevitably walk around like it owns the place. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Yes! Just thawed in some water, and then target feed. The cubes I have are about 1-inch cubes, and I'll feed the nem about 1/6-ish of a cube.

Silversides are like feeding a nem 2 or 3 Thanksgiving Feasts at each meal.

Best way to feed corals and anemones is with drift planktonid sixe foods that they catch and eat like they do in the wild. A fish capture for BTA would be a rare occurrance, well, a full sized silverside sized fish catch would be rare but they might eat a huge number of fish fry (tiny bites) if a school of tiny fishes drifted by.

i don't have any pictures on this machine but my bbt's in the fish tank catch fish food 2 or 3 times a day and they grow and split like weeds.

Ours goes all over the top of the aquascape, from the back to the front, even to the sides sometimes.

Mine hasn't moved (apart from its first couple of days) since it went in the tank over a year ago. It's in a cleft between two rocks, and it disappears in there at night.

If you broadcast feed your fish, they are getting plenty. I would think they would excrete most of a silverside and you would have to step up your export game needlessly.

Something to keep in mind is that not all BTA's are going to naturally split at the same rate. Some seem to only split once they get very large. Some split very often and at a pretty small size. You might be able to get more information if you share a some pictures of your BTA's.
