Tips on Purple tim Condy Anemone

Mine has grown quite a bit and has stayed in the same spot (give or take) since I got it. Like the previous posts said keep it away from other corals! It has a nasty sting unlike BTAs. The only fish I've found in it's grasp and dead was a large healthy tricolor wrasse...but that is still under investigation...;Bookworm

I have had one for two and half years now surrounded by RBTA. Was once hosted by these pink skunk clownfish and now it’s a solo. It likes to move to the very top of the rock work to get lots of light. When lower, I find it spreads out really tall. When clustered around other anemones it stays compact.

Feeding is once a month or so. If I feed it raw shrimp prawns, it does not like the shell and has a hard time digesting. Eventually it spits it out.

doesn’t like high flow directly on it.

packs a horrible stink to the back of your hand and wrists. Will swell up in rash or hives for 3 weeks.
