Tips on reviving my eurphyilla?

My eurphyilla has been closed most of the time and the skeleton of the base is exposed. Any idea how to treat this? Now it has moderate to high flow; moderate lighting, no supplement diet.

Not knowing much about your tank, my guess is that the flow is too high. The clove polyps? behind it look like they want lower flow as well.

My tank is about a year old, its a 10-gallon, PH is 7.8, Nitrate is 5, Nitrite is 0.25. Flow is about moderate (not direct flow); lighting is also moderate.

sorry but moderate and low have no real meaning. Someone's high is my low know what I mean. Like the person driving slow in the fast lane because they think they are fast.

Alkalinity is the most important parameter for lps corals, what is your alkalinity and phosphate level? What type of light exactly do you have? What is your flow, from powerheads or from a filter? A full tank picture and proper info will really help us, we can't guess.

Do you test for alk, calcium and phosphate? Nitrate is low. What type of euphyllia is it, torch? Hard to tell with it withdrawn. My torches get higher random flow than my hammers and frogspawn.

I ran out of test strips for alk, calcium and phosphate but will provide these tomorrow, its a torch. @kevgib67, do you feed them? or they mostly are fine with light.

The test strips are not accurate. Torches do not need to be fed. Need accurate values for calcium, alkalinity, phosphate and magnesium to assist

Test strips are very handy but also the lowest-resolution test you can do.

Any chance the LFS can run a phosphate test (and maybe the others) for you?
