They might have, but I had bought my tank previously, so I was searching for the stand for a reasonable price.
Next time buy the tank, keep the stand, and sale the tank for 100 bucks off to someone [emoji48][emoji48]

Rock scape coming along nicely!!

In case anyone builds one of these and upgrades to the sicce. This is the adapter you will need for the hose. This was purchased at Home Depot.

I finally got my light. I decided to go with the Hydra 26. Oh and some dr Tim’s to get me started. I should start assembly this weekend! Can’t wait.

Well I finally got my tank and stand assembled. Wave makers in there. Swapped out the stock pump for the sicce, and put in my in tank media basket. As well as cut out the back section of the vinyl so I could mount my mini refugium light. Next will be mounting the hydra 26 light, setting up my aquascape, and then making my very first batch of salt water.

Just a side note, and maybe someone has a tip. I found it kind of annoying there’s no cut outs in the top of the mesh lid so I could run wires through. Like my wave maker will not fit through the mesh so now the kid doesn’t sit flush. Am I missing something?

So this is the scape that I dedcided to go with. I’m about to start mixing my salt. I have 35 gallons of water.
Red Sea coral pro salt. So is it a half a cup for every gallon? So roughly 17 and a half cups? My math is no good.

I would just fill the tank with water then mix in salt and let powerheads do the work. Keep adding till you reach your desired salinity

Yes. 1/2 rounded cup per gallon. That'll get you 1.026. I measure by weight which comes out to 1lb 11oz per 5 Gallons

1/2 cup per gallon is usually the standard. Go a cup short tho. Then check salinity and add little by little. I always just fill my tank first with ro and add salt to it when it's a new system, like the comment above me mentioned

Super excited to say my cycle has officially started today. Came home to .25ppm nitrites and 1.0ppm. Should I add some more ammonia at this point?

The corners of the top can be removed to run wires. They are already "perforated" just bend it and it will come off. Nice set up!
