Kinda looks like Bradley Cooper

The only reason how i'm getting through my university exams right now is coffee. Sometimes I wish I could inject caffeine through my veins for faster effect.. aha

I make my self a drip coffee every morning but occasionally will agree with the pupper in that photo and get a starbucks :)

@Captain Quint I have an Aeropress. It’s pretty nice too. I want to try a chemex one day, but dislike the lack of ability to brew a single cup.

Theres such a thing as to much coffee??o_O

We have a coffee press club at my office and brew it up daily. Whole bean only of course.

If y'all are into coffee check out Misto boxes - they have a monthly subscription where they send you varieties of coffee from all over the world. They give you all the details (region, altitude, flavor profiles). Its pretty fun. I'm no coffee snob though - I'll drink folgers or maxwell house anyday. Coffee....coffeee....COFFEEEE!!!

For more fun - here is the place you can find out how much is too much (of caffeine at least): https://www.caffeineinformer.com/death-by-caffeine

Chemex is good - I believe their claims to be pretty true regarding the bitterness of the coffee you brew with their rig. To do the pour over correctly w/ a goose neck kettle is a hassle. I usually go to the french press :).

@Dancingmad that calculator is interesting. I like dark roasts and drink death with coffee pretty often. It says 0.7 cups is the safe daily limit for me :D Caffeine tolerance is definitely a thing. I’m similar where I’m not a coffee snob, I just like coffee. I’m working a 24 today and drank like two pots of firehouse garbage coffee. Tastes like dirt

I just ordered some Death Wish coffee - I've heard good things and its been on my list for a while. Its a robusto bean so it naturally has a higher caffeine content. I understand that its actually the blonde roasts that have the highest caffeine content (when comparing to the typical arabica bean coffees) because more caffeine is lost during the roasting process. This is why many of the "breakfast blends" are blonde/medium roasts :-).

Dark roasts are my favorite though - a nice Italian roast is OM NOMINAL.

My favorite everyday coffee (We get it at HEB and Costco 'round here) is Maya Ruta. Its a medium-dark roast and is fantastic.
