OK I have had him for about a month and this is the first time I have seen this.. He has what looks like a little bit of hair algae on him... Can i remove it from him or am i better off not?

There isn't any on his base or surrounding rocks.. Here is a video i took the other day..

They spit, maybe not spit, but slim out stuff too. You can take a turkey Bastet and blow it of or let no spoon or something and swish it off. I don't think its algae.
