Toadstool baby! Awww

My toadstool got a little to large and was touching the side of the aquarium. It started as a split about 2 months ago and now is starting to take shape. Should I just wait until it releases and then mount it where I want?

Toadstools are very easy to frag you can take some scissors and just cut it off and it will grow new.
