Toadstool Conundrum

Excitement + small slippery toadstool frag (which detached from it's plug on the way home) = me clumsily dropping it into one of the holes in my rockwork.

I don't like keeping my hand in the tank for too long so I don't really want to take the trouble of fishing it out. So, my question is: should I take the trouble, or will simply grow out of the hole if I just give it time? It is getting some light in the hole, it's not in the dark.

Hard to say. You could leave it a while and watch it. It may just attach and grow.
