I have this toadstool coral here in the middle of my tank and have noticed hte last few days its been limp like this..Its by far my favorite piece and also the center of my tank so I want to make sure that this is normal? Research so far shows it could be shedding potentially? I'm planning on doing some water tests today to make sure everything looks in line but wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions or can help me make sure this thing doesnt die on me lo.

They do go into moods when they slouch over like that, it can last up to a week or maybe even more.

They do like flow and need flow to shed and help them stand up, so just ensure it is placed to get good random flow. But if its in a good spot then just wait it out. Yours looks fine to me I would not be concerned. Good luck

Yeah, my toadstool gets grumpy and slumpy sometimes. As long as your parameters are all good, just leave it be. Mine went like 2 months without opening one time.

Make sure Alk has not increased.
It can cause them to “fall” north of 12dkh.

How’s water chemistry?
How stable?

In most cases, corals that look unhappy are experiencing a change in light intensity, spectrum or water chemistry.

If all in check, just let her sulk.
