I bought this toadstool on Friday and he only will show some of his polyps when the lights go off. This is what he looks like right now and it’s almost been a week. Does he look like this because he is still attaching himself to the rock or what is going on??

Toadstool can be fussy. When they are moved, like to a new tank, they usually go through a shed. I would give it another week and see if it looks better. They can be frustrating, but please just be patient.

I turned my power head off because he is still attaching to that rock. Is that a problem?
They need flow to help them shed their outer mucus layer. They also need flow to help them stand up, they will slump over in low flow. You can use a turkey baster in the meantime to blow gently blow on it.
