Toadstool damage

My toadstool was damaged by a neighboring coral (has been relocated) shoul I cut back the damaged tissue or leave it?

hi ,looks a little burnt, but should recover on own,if starts degrading or turns black ,then yes cut off bad tissue...:)

I would leave it alone unless it gets significantly worse to let it heal stress free - kali
