toadstool hosting clown

Hello everyone. So about 2 weeks ago my toadstool started hosting my small male clown. Im worried that the constant irritation of the toadstool will make it release a ton of toxins that will mess up the tank. Sometimes the toadstool looks just fine with the clown swimming in it, other days its half-closed up because of the clown. What to do here?

I keep a bag of carbon in my back chamber that i change out monthly.

You could try to get one or get a fake one and steer him clear of the toadstool

Even if you get one there's no guarantee he'll "make the switch" (Nemos are dumber than a bag of hammers).

Ive read that toadstools are able to handle and host clowns just fine. Is it really that big an issue? Keep in mind both the toadstool & clown are very small.
