I purchased this toadstool, which was sold to me as a deep-water Japanese toadstool.

Can anyone provide specifics or a different name? The coral I'm seeing online by that name look slightly different than this one.

Would you be able to copy/paste the exact description?

Is there a solid base - into which it retracts - or does it look like a soft coral - This does not look like a toadstool to me - but rather a torch. However there are multiple pictures (as im sure you know) online - that look totally different. Is there a reason you're concerned?

It's definitely a toadstool of some kind. It has a black/dark brown base with pure neon green tentacles. I'm not concerned at all! Just want an exact name to add to my notes.

Kinda looks like an Ultra Toadstool with the long polyp extension
