Toadstool is self fragging

It started as white spots that turned into holes about a month ago. Today I noticed it separating from the main colony. The frag looks about 5 inches long. I decided to let it self frag to avoid the toxin release issue and I guess that was the way to go as I have had no issues and all parameters are great. I truly don’t need any more of these in the reef. How many frags should I cut it into? Will they stick with glue or am I going to have to rubber band them? Appreciate any advice.

you will have to rubber band it, i've never gotten glue to work on softies.

I’ve seen someone suggest sewing fishing line through it to tie it to a rock too.
