Hey guys, new to the fragging game and unfortunately, lost a torch coral due to my mistakes. I somewhat recently bought a nano lagoon tank & im taking stuff from a larger tank & putting it in here. Trying to make a torch garden kinda thing but, I want to frag this one— has about 4 heads but the margin for error is very small. About 8-9 inches big when open. The skeleton doesn’t have much room from the flesh to bottom… is it 100% safe if I don’t touch the flesh or would an LFS do it for me? Would love to keep this in the small tank but is a bit too big for my vision lol

All healthy. Can include parameters after test if that is needed. Thanks for the advice!

I normally wont frag mine until there is around an inch of skeleton below the flesh so I have something to grab and glue. I use a diamond saw bit for a dremel.

1" below the flesh minimum is a good specification. How does this torch look when closed? x2 on the diamond bit and dremel. Makes it super easy.

Sounds good I’ll give it a shot. I used that on this specific torch to make the Skelton base shorter/flat a bit ago and it grew out how I wanted in its old tank.

I’ll get some pics later on when the lights go out with how the Skelton looks.
