I really love these corals, but I'm afraid they could outgrow the tank (can't put pictures on here atm, look at my tank on my build thread). I have a few questions. How big do they get? Where could I put one? Are there smaller varieties of these?

Agree with @KrisReef. These dont stop growing and can get gigantic. It will take up your entire tank. That being said, if you start small you might be able to get a couple years before it takes over your tank. You can always remove it when it gets too big and start with a small one again.

I also love leathers and have multiple in my tank. My "frags" have easily quadrupled this past year.

I have one in my tank that hasn't gotten huge yet. Like others have said, it can take years for them to grow to that size

Stop abusing your leather! Give it light and nutrition and it will stop languishing for you!

I try to keep my fish healthy but growing slowly and I may be preaching to myself about this one:cool:
