Toadstool polyps partially extended

I got a toadstool leather about a week ago. The polyps have come out a little but it seems as though they are only half extended. Is this as long as they get or is something wrong? In medium high flow and medium lighting.

My toadstool took almost a month before it settled in. Was completely closed and shrunken for a couple weeks as well. Now , 2 months later it’s tripled in size and the polyps are a cm in length.
I did find that it liked more light and flow than I had thought it would.
It just needs time

They take some time to get acclimated. It should extend further in another week or so.

Keep in mind that they are known to “shed” as well. For being an easier coral, they can be great indicators of some tank parameters.
