Toadstool shedding??? I’m new no clue what’s going on...

My toadstool recently closed up because I fooled with the temp a little bit and maybe it was collecting algae but now it’s coming back out and there’s little sheets of some material coming off of it.

Just looks like the feelers are coming back out. Looks normal. No worries.

I think we our toadstool will be fine. Mine does that all the time. I bought him as a frag.

it's just shedding. this will probably happen every month or so. one thing that sometimes helps is having them in a higher flow area so there's less algae/detritus buildup
