my leather toadstool is about 7 or 8 inches in diameter when fully extended. In the past few weeks I have noticed a permanent indent on one part or the top that has now seemingly become cut, from the edge to the middle. Do toadstools split? Does this appear to be splitting if so?
This picture was from tonight after the lights went blue. The "cut" is just to the left of the curled part.

I've seen other leathers drop clones before so it wouldn't surprise me if a toadstool would do it too.

I had read that they "drop clones" like you said reef lover, but couldn't find anything about splitting. This looks like it is trying to do a clean split in two. I am not going to worry and just sit back and enjoy the ride. Thanks for the reassurance!

as long as everything tests well I wouldn't worry, they're pretty hardy
